How paymaze manages payments in Creatio

How it works

Setup merchants

paymaze setups merchant as the Billing details record in the Account card in Creatio.

You can connect a few merchants in one payment gateway (or different payment gateways) with one Account in the Creatio. But only one merchant can be the default.  

In the picture below, you can see that Our company account has two connected getaways:

  1. Test PaySimple sandbox in the PaySimple payment gateway 
  2. Liqpay sandbox in the LiqPay payment gateway 

Test PaySimple sandbox is the default, so any payment, created for Our company will be processed via PaySimple

In case you want to switch to Liqpay sandbox, you need to set it as the default merchant. Paymaze will process all new payments via the LiqPay payment gateway from that moment. It doesn't touch old payments, created under PaySimple merchant. 


Important

Please do not switch merchants on the Account in case you are using a Subscription with the auto-charge feature. It can affect the charge of credit cards.

To create a new payment, choose the correct Account in the Payee field. 

 

How to use a few merchants in paymaze

If you want to process payments with different payment gateways, better youse different accounts. 

Use case 1: Differentiate by customer's location with different payment gateways.

Process payments from customers in the USA via PaySimple payment gateway and use Stripe payment gateway for the customers from other countries. 

  1. Create Our company US account in Creatio and add a merchant in PaySimple
  2. Create Our company Global Account in Creatio and add a merchant in Stripe
  3. Choose the correct Account when you create payment manually or in the Creatio business process designer. 

Use case 2: Differentiate by accounting reason in one payment gateway.

Process payments with different companies via Stripe. You are using Stripe but need to accept part of payments via My First LLC and others via My Second LLC. 

  1. Register two merchants for each company in Stripe
  2. Create My First LLC account in Creatio and add the first merchant.  
  3. Create My Second LLC account in Creatio and add the first merchant. 
  4. Choose the correct Account when you create payment manually or in the Creatio business process designer. 

Paymaze will process all payments via Stripe, but for different companies.
